2020.09 Release Notes

This release introduces more detailed test states, and cumulative reporting.

Enhancements

  • New test states: The state changes for a running test are a bit more detailed, as shown in the Managed Services user interface:

  • Cumulative reporting: In prior releases, running a subsequent test copied all open findings from the previous test, using the same target and the same URL. This behavior is still an option.

    With cumulative reporting, open findings from the previous test and target are copied as well, but the URL does not have to be the same.

    Cumulative reporting can be specified for a particular target or for a particular URL.

Discontinued features

  • For the List Targets request in the API, the target parameter is no longer supported. The target type is now inferred from the test context.
