Prerequisites for Using Active Directory Federation Services¶

To log in to Managed Services using AD FS, the following requirements must be met:

An Active Directory instance where all users have an email address attribute.
A Managed Services account and instance.
An SSL certificate to sign your AD FS login page and a fingerprint for that certificate OR an installed certificate for a hosted SSL.
A server running Microsoft Server 2012 or Microsoft Server 2008.
