Enabling Notifications

Managed Services Platform sends email notifications when significant events occur.

The following notification types can be enabled or disabled by your Black Duck partner user:

  • Service order is due to expire in 45 days, or expires (notifies all admins)
  • Scan resumes, is on hold, is scheduled, or is rescheduled by a user
  • Scan is completed

Other notification types are sent by default and cannot be disabled:

  • Company profile is updated by an admin (notifies all admins)
  • User account is removed/deactivated, activated, locked/unlocked, created, or onboarded with a welcome email
  • Password is reset, is about to expire, or expires
  • Test schedule is automatically adjusted
  • External draft test is shared
  • Comments are deleted, updated, or added
