Assigning Users to a Test Target

Assigning a user to a test target allows the user to view and work with a specific target.

Once a user has been assigned to a target, a user’s role permissions determine the specific actions that they can take. Actions include viewing the target, updating the target, or scheduling a test for it.

Note: You can also manage the targets that users can work with by assigning users to target groups instead of to an individual target. When you assign a user to a target group, that user is automatically assigned to the individual targets within that group.
