Setting Up 2-Factor Authentication

In this section, we review how to set up and configure 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) with Authy, Google Authenticator, or Microsoft Authenticator. Any one of these three applications can be used and are supported by Managed Services' authentication system.

We will cover the following 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) procedures:

  1. Enabling 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) for the first time
  2. Enabling 2-Factor Authentication on a different device
  3. Installing Authy, Google Authenticator, or Microsoft Authenticator
  4. Setting up Authy, Google Authenticator, or Microsoft Authenticator

  5. Setting Up Authy 2-Factor Authenticator
    In this section, we review how to set up Authy 2-Factor Authenticator, an application that generates two-step verification codes, on your mobile device.

  6. Setting Up Google Authenticator
    In this section, we review how to set up Google Authenticator, an application that generates two-step verification codes, on your mobile device.
  7. Setting Up Microsoft Authenticator
    In this section, we review how to set up Microsoft Authenticator, an application that generates two-step verification codes, on your mobile device.
  8. Enabling 2FA on a Different Device
    In this section, we review how to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) on a different device when you already have it enabled in your Managed Services account.
