2019.06 Release Notes

The Managed Services Platform 2019.06 release includes a number of new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes.

New Features and Updates

  • Enhanced CSV report: A newly enhanced CSV report is introduced. The new CVS report provides more information about the found vulnerabilities. (The new CSV report is not backward compatible with the existing CSV.)
  • API Keys: Currently, API keys are generated in Managed Services Platform and have no expiration dates. Starting this release, an expiration period will need to be selected for newly issued keys. Additionally, new REST API endpoints have been introduced, allowing users to manage these keys programatically.
  • Most Vulnerable Targets Chart (Vulnerability Dashboard): This chart is enhanced to allow the sorting of targets by the total count of found vulnerabilities or the total count of critical vulnerabilities (based on user selection).
  • Vulnerabilities Sorting: The vulnerabilities (Threat Details) listed in the Interactive Report are now sorted by criticality (Critical, High, Medium, Low, and Minimal).

Important Compatibility Notices

  • CSV transition: The new CSV report is not backward compatible with the old report. To minimize the impact on user processes, the old CSV report will continue to be published until the 2019.09 release under the "Additional" section as csv_report (deprecated).csv. Thereafter, only the new report will be published.
  • XML transition: In the 2019.05 release, we have introduced a new XML report. To ease the transition to this new report, the old XML report will be published until the 2019.09 release under the section "Additional" section as xml_report (deprecated).xml. Thereafter, only the new report will be published.
  • API Keys: With the introduction of expiry periods for API key, existing keys will be assigned a 30 days expiration period by default. This gives users enough time to replace these keys with minimal interruption to user processes.
