Single Sign-on Using Okta¶
Another way to configure single sign-on is to use Okta itself, rather than AD FS, to perform authentication.
With single sign-on (SSO) authentication, a user can access Managed Services without being prompted to enter separate login credentials. SSO authentication grants a user automatic access to multiple applications, once it has authenticated that user.
Note: You will need IT team members from your organization who have administrator privileges on the IdP system who will help you configure the system using the steps provided in the following section.
- Configure the Identity Provider (IdP)
To configure the IdP, you use both the Managed Services and the Okta interfaces.
