Test Targets¶
In the Managed Services Platform, a target is an application, such as an Android mobile app or Java source code, that your organization wants to test for security vulnerabilities.
Before you can schedule a test of a target, you need to create the target object. The topics in this section describe how to create and work with test targets, as well as best practices for creating targets.
Important: To create targets and perform other tasks described in this section, you will need Basic Users permissions from your Administrator.
- Target Groups
When you create a target object, instead of a single target (a single application), you can create a target group (a group of applications). - Creating Schedules for Test Targets
You can create and schedule tests for various types of test targets. - Target Descriptions and Details
You can find target descriptions on the TARGET panel. - Creating Target Groups
Creating a target group enables you to apply testing or other actions to multiple applications at once. - Modifying Targets
Once a target has been created, you can modify its properties. - Modifying Target Groups
Once you have created a target group, you can either assign or revoke additional targets and users.
