Live Hosts Q1. Please enter the approximate number of live hosts*: : You enter the approximate number of live hosts.

Whitelisting Q1. Is there any security device deployed that are protecting the in-scope networks (IDS, IPS, firewalls, etc)? : Choose YES or NO.

Q2. Can the access to the target network system be blocked by any of the above security device or manual response?* : Choose YES or NO.

Q2.1. Are you able to whitelist the Black Duck IPs?* : If you responded YES to the previous question, then answer YES or NO to this one. If you answer NO here (the IP addresses cannot be whitelisted), please work with a Black Duck Project Manager to discuss other options.

Q3. Does the network ACLs allow for inbound ICMP messages?* : Choose YES or NO.

Q3.1. Are you able to allow for the inbound ICMP messages from the whitelisted Black Duck IPs so that Black Duck can determine live hosts more easily? * : If you responded NO to the previous question, then please answer YES or NO to this one.

Hosting Environment Q1. Are any of the in-scope IP addresses/ranges or URLs hosted by third parties such as cloud providers?* : Choose YES or NO.

Q1.1. Has the permission been received to perform the network tests on the systems?*  : If you responded YES to the previous question, then answer YES or NO to this one. Third party or cloud provider approval should be provided two days prior to the start date for Black Duck to be able to start this test.

Q1.1.1. Is there authorization/confirmation number?* : If you responded YES to the previous question, then answer YES or NO to this one.

Q2. Select the environment type of the target* : Select one of the following target networks:
